my karate kid
Kenna has wanted to try Karate for a while now; so when we got a coupon in the mail for 2 lessons for $10 I thought we'd give it a try. From what I've researched, karate is usually about 90 bucks a month! Toooo much! So 10 was a good deal, plus she got a karate outfit. She looks so cute in it! Her first lesson was today and she did so well! I was so very proud of my big girl! I may or may not have teared up a little. Anyways, Kenna loved it and she is so excited to go for her next lesson and I might just have to break down and let her do karate for a month...I wonder if they accept payment installments lol.
I'm pretty sure Sulli is taking after his sister because he has been on a non-stop kick-a-thon ALL day today. =)

Love it! As a mother of a Black Belt.... I have to say it is one of the best things for kids strength and self esteem (not that my kids were lacking in the self esteem department!) We paid $140 a month for 4 years plus $50 for each test every 3 months except for Gordon's Black Belt test that was a whopping $380! Then there was the sparring equipment... I could go on and on.
Sometimes they have scholarships for kids that need them so it might be worth asking.
She is absolutely adorable in her "dobok"!!!
I wondered what they were called! lol
You know at first I thought we'll just do this trail thing and be done with it, but I think it is SO worth the cost. I love it almost as much as she does and it instills such great values. You can't go wrong! It's 90 a month so maybe I will look into the scholarships. Thanks Julie!
