quarter of a century

I had my 25th birthday on the 30th of August. The sad thing about birthdays and getting older is that really, birthdays are just another day and no big deal. However, I can now rent a car if I so desire. I guess the next milestone for me will be 30 which is only 5 short years away! So on my bday, I had to go to my math class, then I went to my grandpas for lunch, took Kenna to get her birthday pictures at Penny's (which I will post), then my parents took Kenna and me to Chick-fil-a for dinner and then my grandpa, aunt and uncle came over for cake and ice cream. It was a great day! =)

my birthday celebration with the girls

I love getting to go out with my girlfriends, they are so awesome! =) So on Friday, Stacie, Shelli, Tara and I met at the Gateway town down to go out to dinner. We went to Happy Sumo (YUMMY!), went and saw Inception (AWESOME!), then we had ice cream at Leatherbys (GOOD ICE CREAM, CRAPPY SERVICE), and after that Stacie and I went to her friends birthday party. It was a fun night! Thanks girls, I love you!!! =)

back to school...again

BAH! I am very disappointed with how fast the two whole weeks of summer with no school went by! What can ya do though? At least it's all new classes. I started on the 25th and am going full time with five classes, two of which are sinchy.  Kenna and I are excited for her to go back to school!  She starts up on the 8th of September and she is sooo excited to see Tyler ( her boyfriend lol). I'm just looking forward to getting back into a routine. Hopefully this semester will go by fast and I can stay on top of things!

The day I started school we were visited by the Adam's family! They are the family who adopted Sheena's baby boy, Lucas.  They are so great! We are so grateful for them and the wonderful family they are! =)

Kenna was downstairs playing with Lucas' sisters.

my baby girl is 4!

I cannot believe how fast these last four years have gone by! I am so grateful for my little girl! What a blessing she is to me. She is so loving and caring and she always has her mommas back. =) Kenna had a great birthday this year! In the morning when she woke up she got to open some things from me (clothes, so just boring stuff lol), then I got some things ready for her Tiana themed party that night, then we went for what other then chicken and fries. I even went in the play place with her because there weren't any kids for her to play with. When we came home I tried to get Kenna to take a nap, but that didn't happen until later. So I just continued getting things ready for the party. Everyone came over around 6:30. We ate a yummy dinner the kids played and swam, Kenna opened her presents and then we had cake and cupcakes. Thanks to everybody that came to share this special day with McKenna and me! =)

weekend in park city

The weekend before my mom and I started back to school, my parents decided to rent a condo up in Park City for two nights. It was a pretty fun weekend. We went swimming at the pool both days and on Saturday we went to a park then went on the Alpine Slide. I LOVED THE SLIDE! I would go on that every day if I could! Kenna liked it too. =) Thanks to my parents for a memorable weekend!
