wheeler farm

Our fun thing for the week last week was going to Wheeler Farm. My dad even meet up with us since his work is pretty close to the farm. It was fun. Hot, but fun. We feed some birds, saw some animals, went on a wagon ride, and got some penny candy. After that Kenna and I went to pick up her and Sulli's dad from work and went to his family reunion in Saratoga Springs. I didn't take any pics cause I did want to be the palangi girl with the camera lol. Kenna had so much fun running around with her cousins. She got some hardcore mosquito bites though. =( When we came home she got to do some "sprinklers" (sparklers). It was a long fun day.

A couple years back I bought Kenna a sweet pair of strap on rollerblades at a yard sell for 1 buck. She wanted to give them a try last week and she did really well! I was impressed! She only fell twice and she was a tough girl when she did and would promptly get back up and try again. I hope that she'll be better at things like rollerblading, biking, scooter(ing) and all other various things with wheels then I was and or am. They weren't my strong suit when I was little, neither were kart-wheels lol (I'll chalk that up to my derriere). So hopefully she'll be better then me. =)

oh west fest

I la la la love me some West Fest! There aren't many better ways to make you feel better about yourself and yet at the same time make you feel bad for not having any tattoos then going to West Fest. We went with my mom and my friend Stacie and we had so much fun. The only not fun part was when I got locked in the Centennial Park bathrooms (since I opted to not go in one of the port-a-potty's) within the first 5 minutes of being there. Obviously, I got out and all is well. Here are some of the pics.

We also went to see the fireworks. I love fireworks and sitting and waiting for them while people watching and eating snacks. Kenna and Sulli's dad came with Kenna. my mom and myself.

My poor mom got sunburned from working hard outside and then swimming with Kenna.
